Kids at this school range from ages 9-18. This technical institute serves as the main center for training. Typically, kids come from feeder schools nearby. Either Coach Wu will visit these schools to watch kids move, or coaches from these schools will ask Coach Wu to come down when they feel they have a kid with potential in the sport.

Pictured here is the start of their session. The coach up front is responsible for working with the younger kids and new recruits. She’ll teach them the basics of technique and get them to learn how to listen and focus. Once the kids know how to listen and stay focused, they then advance to start working with Coach Wu.
