Hey folks, I’m excited to announce my first Kickstarter project - The Art of Weightlifting! It’s a hardbound illustrated book where you can read my collected thoughts and theories on Olympic-style weightlifting. Unlike the typical textbook, the theories will be depicted with beautiful illustrations rendered by a team of fine artists curated by my creative pal @ericcalderon!

Weightlifting is fun, but lifting weight is more fun. At FuBarbell, we celebrate picking up heavy objects regardless of it’s shape.

Congratulations to Kristin Newman (@dancefightlift) for entering and taking 1st place in her very first Strong(wo)man competition!

Kristin competed and scored in the following events:

Farmer’s Walk 185lbs/handle

Axle clean&jerk 203lbs

Deadlift (Silver dollar/18 inch) 545lbs

Stone ~170lbs -ish

Zercher Carry 265lbs
